I’ve been thinking about the argument that we can’t take our creativity to the grave.
We leave two things when we die – legacy and pollution. The good work we did is legacy, the crap we churned out is pollution. Unfortunately, we can’t take pollution with us when we depart this life, so we might as well do our best with legacy.
I’m lucky that I’ve found photography. It has taken me to places and meeting many amazing people that wouldn’t have happened if I had chosen another path. Hopefully when I perish, my good images will float around on Google, or in libraries somewhere – inspiring people to fall in love, leave they jobs they hate, follow their dreams or simply be happy.
I’m not taking the lovely pictures to my grave, but they will be my legacy.

We leave two things when we die – legacy and pollution.
